According to article No. 4 of the Electoral code of Turkmenistan, the right to declare the beginning of electoral campaign for Presidential elections in Turkmenistan belongs to the Central Commission for holding elections and referendums in Turkmenistan.
According to the decree №10 from 22 October 2016, the Central Commission for holding elections and referendums in Turkmenistan announced that the electoral campaign for the elections of the President of Turkmenistan starts from October 24, 2016.
Information about the start of the election campaign on elections of the President of Turkmenistan has been brought to the attention of the citizens through the mass media.
