Campaign of nomination of candidates is completed

On February 28, 2019, there were completed a campaign of nomination of candidates for the elections instead of the retired deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the velayat, etrap, and city Halk maslahaty and Gengeshes, which will be held on the last Sunday of March of this year.

In accordance with Article 44 of the Electoral Code of Turkmenistan, the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan and groups of citizens residing in the respective constituencies participated in the nomination process. By 125 constituencies, there were nominated respected candidates.

In accordance with Article 48 of the Electoral Code of Turkmenistan, the registration of candidates by the relevant election commissions will continue until March 5, 2019.
