For the purpose of organized preparation and holding of the upcoming elections, which will be held on the last Sunday of March of this year, on February 22, 2019, there were held a training seminar with representatives of the mass media at the complex of Press House of the State Publishing Service of Turkmenistan.
On the training seminar, conducted by the staff of the Central Election Commission, there were attended responsible representatives of magazines and newspapers in our country.
During the training seminar, the journalists were informed about the norms of the Electoral Code, the approved program of events, the provision of information about the electoral rights of citizens, the consistent and timely provision of information to the population about campaign activities, the holding of free and fair elections on a broad, democratic basis. As well as they were informed about publicity and openness of elections.
Also on the training seminars there were discussed issues for holding this social and political event on the high level.
