The start of the election campaign on elections the deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the members of velayat, etrap, city halk maslahaty and the members of the Gengeshs has been announced

According to article No. 4 of the Electoral code of Turkmenistan, the right to declare the beginning of electoral campaign for elections the deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the members of velayat, etrap, city halk maslahaty and the members of the Gengeshs belongs to the Central Commission for holding elections and referendums in Turkmenistan.

According to the decree from 2 December 2017, the Central Commission for holding elections and referendums in Turkmenistan announced that the electoral campaign for the elections of the deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the members of velayat, etrap, city halk maslahaty and the members of the Gengeshs starts from December 4, 2017.

Information about the start of the election campaign on elections has been brought to the attention of the citizens through the mass media.
