Appointment of Election Day the deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the members of velayat, etrap, city halk maslahaty and the members of the Gengeshs

According to article №81 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, Article №4 Electoral Code of Turkmenistan, appointing the date of elections of the deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the members of velayat, etrap, city halk maslahaty and the members of the Gengeshs belongs to the Mejlis (Parliament) of Turkmenistan.

According to the resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of 25 november 2017, the deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the sixth convocation, the members of velayat, etrap and city halk maslahaty of the fourth convocation, the members of the Gengeshs of the eighth convocation elections in Turkmenistan is assigned to hold on Sunday, March 25, 2018.

Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted a resolution "On the elections of the deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the sixth convocation, the members of velayat, etrap and city halk maslahaty of the fourth convocation, the members of the Gengeshs of the eighth convocation" has been brought to the attention of the citizens through the mass media.
